The overall aim of the project is to promote solidarity as a value through volunteering and to enable young people to participate in activities which promote solidarity.
Volunteers who will participate in a multicultural environment will have the opportunity to develop skills and competencies that will increase the competitiveness in the labor market at local and European level.
During the project, young people will improve the abovementioned skills and competencies through joint activities with communities of host organizations and society Secondly, the project will enable young people to volunteer in organizations located in foreign countries, thus ensuring the mobility of young people. The project will promote positive societal changes, as young people volunteering in other countries, will know different cultures and will contribute to the promotion of intercultural/interreligious dialogue.
Other project objectives are:
- Promote generosity, unity, commonality of interests, shared responsibility, mutual support and respect through volunteering activities and support the mobility of young volunteers, trainees and workers.
- To organize activities promoting solidarity and the social inclusion of the participants with fewer opportunities, provide non-formal and informal learning and recognition and validation of acquired skills and competencies.
The project will involve young people aged between 18 and 30 from project partner organizations from Turkey, Spain, France and one volunteer from Lithuania who will volunteer in Montenegro. Young people who want to acquire or improve their skills in pre-school education and children day centres will be invited to join the project. Participants will be invited regardless of their religious, cultural, social, ethnic backgrounds, knowledge, skills and language skills.
Foreseen activities during the project based on educational, social, cultural, personal, civic, professional development of young people. Activities will promote a sense of solidarity, mutual understanding, tolerance.
