On February 2014 in Georgian cozy town called Bakuriani 30 youth leaders, project managers working with mobility and migration issues from six countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Italy, Lithuania, Poland have gathered to gain new knowledge and skills. The seminar “Inclusive Mobility Towards Youth Employability” was devoted to European mobility schemes as a tool for developing young people’s skills and competences in order to be competitive in the labour market, avoid marginalisation and social exclusion, focusing on migrants in Europe.The seminar was focused on such issues as youth mobility and participation and promotion of YiA, Erasmus + and other youth mobility programmes as a tool for social inclusion of young people and young migrants. The seminar also looked at EU initiatives and their use in fighting youth unemployment.The seminar’s main objectives were:1. to discover unemployment situation of young people, including young immigrants in EU, EECA2. to learn about the European mobility schemes/ programmes, seeking to increase competitiveness of young people, including young immigrants in labour market through non-formal and informal learning3. to share good practices based on the European mobility programmes, seeking to highlight significance and need of intercultural competence in EU labour market4. to develop the initiatives focused on European mobility schemes / programmes, seeking to decrease unemployment rate among the youth, including young immigrants, promoting active citizenship and European cooperation in the youth fieldThe aim of 8 days project was reached through the high quality partnership development, competence development based on essential principles of non-formal education and experiential learning as well as high level of youth involvement and dissemination activities.To get more information about our project and other useful information about youth employement and mobiltiy please visit our websitewww.inclusivemobility.eu or facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/581874885229527/
